Hollywood Ending along with their six opening acts, played the last show of their Turn Up Tour at the Revolution Bar and Music Hall in Amityville Long Island.

Hollywood Ending is a pop-rock band that formed in the Summer of 2011. The band consists of Tyler Wilson (Lead Vocals), Cameron Byrd (Lead Vocals/Guitar/Piano), Dan Geraghty (Vocals/Lead Guitar), and Chris Bourne (Vocals/Bass).

Some other acts that performed that night were One Click Waiting, Six Stories Told, The Millennium, Late Nite Reading, This Is All Now and Astro Safari USA.

Hollywood Ending took the stage to play for family, friends, and fans for a fun, energetic night on Sunday October 12. They played a mix of throwback songs from when the band was first starting to songs from their latest EP, an extended play of musical recordings, Anywhere. They even played a brand new song that no one’s heard before called Zero Gravity. One of their biggest fan hits of the night was their song Grocery Store Rap.

Throughout the tour, it has been a tradition for at least one of the guys to take their shirt off for half of the show. Therefore they made a deal with the fans. If they were loud enough and crazy enough while they performed the Grocery Store Rap a shirt would be coming off. However after performing they said that the crowd had broke the scale and therefore all of them were going to take off their shirts, much to the crowds delight.

Highlights of the next few songs were when members from the opening bands came on stage, sang a few lines, danced around, and then left. Even Wilson’s little brother made an appearance and played the guitar for part of their song Freak Like Me.

“The concert was amazing. The perfect pick me up. My favorite opening act is a tie between Late Nite Reading and This Is All Now. My favorite Hollywood Ending song performed was Punk Ass Kids, my favorite part of the night was Late Nite Reading’s set and when I got to talk to Brady (the bassist from Late Nite Reading),” senior at Seaford High School Danielle S. said.

The final song of the night was Hollywood Ending’s version of I’m A Believer by The Monkees. During which members from every band piled on stage to dance and sing at the top of their lungs with them.

“The concert was awesome. I knew none of the bands but it was still good. All of them had a lot of energy. I’m so glad that I did not get trampled by crazy fangirls. The boys from every band were very nice,” freshman at Francis Lewis High School Samantha Plisic said.

Every act that got up on the stage that night had a high level of energy and engaged the crowd by asking them to sing lyrics back to them, clap their hands, or to just simply put their hands in the air.

This was an energetic way to end their tour Turn up Tour. Hollywood Ending’s next tour is currently happening in Europe and is titled the Punk A$$ Kids Tour. It is unknown at this time whether they will bring that tour or a new tour back to the states.
