Student government began scheduling dates for future town hall meetings involving all the grades in addition to, having their own one on one meeting with Ms. Schneider.

According to Mr. Nisonoff, a website will be created just for student government to inform the students about any upcoming events.

The sophomore representatives are planning events that will bring other sophomores together.
“We were thinking about taking our grade on a bowling trip,” said sophomore vice president, Berenice Polycarpe.

The juniors are working out the details for the Winter Semi- Formal.

“We really want to have the high school to have a dance so they can have a good time and hang out with their friends. The Winter Semi Formal is on January 13th  from 7 to 10 and all high school students are welcomed to come to the event. The tickets are ten dollars per person and no tickets will be sold at the door. Students can bring outside guests that have to be in high school.  We hope that everyone could participate in going to the dance,” said junior secretary, Michelle Rivera.

In honor of Anti- Bullying month, the freshman representatives want to have a guest speaker town hall to discuss the issue of bullying in mid February or April.

“We want to spread awareness about bullying because it has become a big issue for kids nowadays and we need to stop spreading it throughout the school,” said freshmen president, Alice Mungyu.

The seniors are planning to have a movie night and a high school breakfast buffet. They are currently waiting for Ms. Schneider’s approval. For further information contact Erik Kim, Avi Solkoff, Amanda Brandell  or Sophia Chronopolous.
