As February Break recently passed, Students did many different things to enjoy their week off from school.

“I went to Aruba with my family and one of my friends. This was my fourth time going here but it was still really fun. I went water tubing, I went on a boat and toured around I went to the beach and went jet skiing. Out of all the times I went here this was by far my favorite and funnest time,” senior Gabriella Martini said.

“I went on the Europe Trip. This is my second time going. We went to Italy, France, Spain and Monaco. My favorite place was Barcelona because I liked the culture and how beautiful the city was,” senior Jonah Sampedro said.

“I went to Mexico with my family and friends. This is my second time going. This time we went to the water park and the beach that was right off the resort and we went shopping in this little town,” freshman Georgia Fragioudakis said.

“I’m glad I got to leave NY and go to Mexico during February Break because it was really hot, and I went with family and friends and got to spend time with them and it was a nice little get away so I could relax and enjoy the nice hot weather,” sophomore Alexia Kyriakakis said.

“I flew to Honolulu and drove to Oahu and stayed at the Aulani Disney Resort. It was my first time there and it was so nice and pretty and an amazing experience and it’s so different from any of the other states. I went snorkeling and i saw a coral reef and saw cliffs and it was so amazing and different from anything else,” freshman Julia DiMarcello said.

“I went to California with my dad and my brother and it was fun and really pretty. The weather was so nice and hot the whole time I was there and I was near the mountains so I had a nice view of the area. I went to an amusement park with my family called Knott’s Berry farm and I went shopping and out to eat a lot and it was really fun,” sophomore Nyla McCalla said.

“I went to Florida with my friend and family. We went to several different beaches and we even went hiking in the woods to the tree top bridge that gave you a view of the whole forest. Even though I go multiple times a year every time I always do something different so I end up having a lot of fun,” junior Jackie Catalano said

“I went to the Dominican Republic. I went to Platanal City. I went to the city and to the countryside to see my family that lives in those parts. I went to the pool and some of my favorite restaurants. I was really excited to go because i don’t really get to see them so it was a really fun trip for me and a really great way for me to spend my break,” sophomore Emily Ferreira said.

“Even though I stayed in NY I still had fun with friends and family. I hung out with lots of people and enjoyed the time off from school,” junior Amanda Goldberg said.
