Running back for the Seattle Seahawks, Marshawn lynch recently hinted to fans that he might be retiring after this season.

Not officially announced, but Lynch did hint that he might retire after he posted a picture to his twitter account, of a pair of cleats hanging from a telephone wire. As of now, there is no particular reason for Lynch’s  retirement.

Seattle Seahawks and other NFL teams and players have shown their respect for Lynch retiring  and everything he has done during his  career via social media, starting the hashtag “ThankYouBeastMode.”

Seattle Seahawks twitter account posted a video of Lynch’s highlights throughout his career.

Students share their thoughts on Lynch retirement plans

“He’s a great player, I’m not a Seahawks fan but I will miss seeing him on the field,” junior Maxwell Smith said.
“Honestly if it’s true, I’ll be sad about it. We’re gonna lose a great player in the NFL. I’m not a Seahawks fan but I am a skittles fan,” senior Daniel Kricheli said.
