As the wild card division is finally wrapping up, the official NFL playoffs kick off this week. The Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Foxboro to face off against the New England Patriots, then the Pittsburgh Steelers will face off the Denver Broncos. In the AFC playoffs, the almost undefeated Carolina Panthers will face the 2014 super bowl champions Seattle Seahawks, and the weak Green Bay Packers will go to Arizona to face off the Cardinals.

Last week in the wild card, we saw the rise and the fall. One of the greater falls in last week’s game was seeing the Pittsburgh Steelers hold off the hot Cincinnati Bengals. With both teams struggling throughout the game, it was only around the fourth quarter that it looked like the Bengals were sure to take the win, but things changed soon after. The Bengals ended up giving up 30 yards on the last drive setting up a perfect field goal for the Steelers. Even though winning the game due to refs help, the Steelers had to give up their two star players in the process. Antonio Brown, leader in receiving yards this season and Ben Roethlisberger their star quarterback. Once seen as a deadly team in the playoff is now looked at as an easy win.

Another huge upset was the Minnesota Vikings losing their playoff seat in the worst way possible as their field goal kicker missed an easy field goal 27 yards out with only 20 seconds on the clock. Costing them a game and extending their playoff drought to seven years.

As for the Kansas City Chiefs, they had an easy win versus a weak JJ Watt and company. The player everyone seemed to love in last years season showed a terrible performance and ended up getting injured halfway through the game.
Tune in on Saturday and Sunday to see the NFL playoffs.
