Visible Vision

Visible+Vision

From the first bell to the final assignment, the act of wearing glasses in class shapes the trajectory of a student’s learning. It’s one clear vision at a time.

In the realm of education the importance of students wearing their glasses in class cannot be exaggerated. It’s not a matter of personal choice.

Having clear vision is important when learning. When students wear their glasses they are engaged with the lesson they are presented with. All students deserve a chance to succeed.

Those who can’t see may have a tendency of not wearing their glasses and always squinting in class. This causes eye strains leading to headaches, which would be prevented by wearing glasses.

Students may have vision problems that if left alone it can worsen over time. Wearing your glasses helps correct those problems.

In addition, having your glasses on shows responsibility and self-care. It encourages students to address their vision needs and take proactive steps to overcome their obstacles of learning.

WJPS freshman Michelle Hoyos said, “Wearing my glasses in class is very important to me. I engage so much in the lesson and I become more productive.”

WJPS sophomore Jayden Cervantes said, “People should wear their glasses in class because they need to see and also how else would they pay attention.”
