College Now is a college transition program for students who want to earn college credits or want to participate in other classes they are interested in.
The classes offered in College Now are free and they help students familiarize themselves with college courses in advance. Students taking College Now classes can benefit from knowing what they are interested in and decide what kind of career they want to do for the future.
Through attending these courses students are able to earn college credits in high school before going to college.
“College Now has affected students in gaining credit for their college,” said Charlize Polo, a WJPS junior.
Ishal Ahmad, a WJPS freshmen, stated, “It makes students have more classes that they can use to further expand their knowledge and helps them work towards their future goals. It differs from what it used to be because a lot of the classes are online now because of COVID. You should have the average or above the average amount because every school can vary.”
College Now affects a lot of the students who want to go to college, the more credits you get, the less time you need to pay in the college and more free time you can have for college.
