Many fans know Shia LaBeouf as a talented actor, but he has also made many headlines for his public outbursts during his career. The release of his new film “Honey Boy” has given us some explanation of the events that lead up to the autobiographical film. 

It began with his days as the star of Even Stevens on Disney Channel when he says that all of the pressure was on him to keep the money coming in. He also told a podcast that he always felt that if he “had more money, there’d be no fighting” between his parents.

He then struggled with alcoholism, it helped with his post-traumatic stress disorder that he developed earlier on. He realized when he began filming “Peanut Butter Falcon” where his heated situation with a police officer landed him in jail.

LaBeouf then decided that seeking help was much better than going to jail and this is what led him to find out that he has PTSD. He thought he was an alcoholic, but there was a whole other thing that was hindering his ability to have any peace and his ability to deal with people.
