Milwaukee Bucks star player Giannis Antetokounmpo will be a free agent for the 2020-21 season.
The Bucks could sign Antetokounmpo to a supermax contract when eligible in 2020 so that no teams can sign him as a free agent.
Antetokounmpo said, “I’ll never leave the team and the city of Milwaukee till we build the team to a championship level team.” He was stating his thoughts on how it felt to leave his hometown team in the United States and how he wants to win a championship with the team he was drafted on.
So if Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks win the 2020 NBA finals, then he will be very content and soon after he will decide on which teams he would want to go to next year.
During the 2019 All-Star game, Antetokounmpo talked to Golden State’s Stephen Curry and said that he will come to the Golden State Warriors if he wins a ring with the Bucks.
