After Miley Cyrus announced her split with Liam Hemsworth, she was captured making out with Cody Simpson, her new boyfriend, whom she has known for a very long time now and feels very comfortable with.

During an appearance at a Tiffany and Company event, Simpson was asked if Cyrus was “The One.” His response was, “Well, I don’t know yet. It’s still so early in the relationship.” However, Simpson stated that he’s very happy with Cyrus. 

Simpson also stated that the best part of their relationship is that since they have known each other for so long, it’s like they just reconnected again, but this time better. Simpson stated, “We had a lot of fun then. But now we have found each other in a space where we’re working real hard, not partying, and just trying to keep things healthy.”

When Cyrus was diagnosed with tonsillitis, it was Simpson who looked after her, played the guitar for her, and wrote her a love poem.
