During 6th period, Assistant Principal Mr. Jurman made an announcement to all students to avoid passing through the halls near his office on the 3rd floor–one of the bathrooms had flooded.
“Paper towels [were] stuffed in the toilet… the valve which stops flooding turned on…it led to an open faucet,” Assistant Principal Mr. Jurman said.
Soon after its discovery, a custodian was called, windows were opened, and in a matter of minutes the closed-off hallway was clean once again.
“[It was] Basically 40-year-old plumbing,” cleaner Freddy Pulcrano said.
After a quick clean up, the once-messy hallways were good as new, as if there was never a flood in the first place.
