Mr. Jordan Mitchell was born in Manhattan in 1993. He is currently 24 years old, and he likes the Tennessee Titans and follows eSports.
He went to Touro College for his undergraduate degree then went to St. John’s University for graduate school. He majored in math and minored in finance.
He likes biking and tries to save money by biking to and from work.
Wanting to be able to help the community with outreach to at-risk teens, he began to study to be a rabbi in Israel for two years before coming back to the United States. He stopped his studies because he stopped believing in Judaism and felt he could help others and do better by teaching students in America. His parents were happy, but were also disappointed when he decided to return to America.
He would rather teach middle school classes instead of high school ones because the students are “easier to teach.” One day he wishes to teach in the prison system.
