After the 2015-2016 NBA season ends, some of the league’s best players will become a free agent.
According to Merriam-Webster, a free agent can be described as a professional athlete who is free to sign a contract to play for any team.
“Durant is definitely staying with OKC. He’s not going anywhere. Him and Rusell Westbrook are the face of OKC,” senior Kaila Pulley said.
Players, such as Kevin Durant who plays for Oklahoma City Thunder, Demar DeRozan who plays for the Toronto Raptors, Dwyane Wade from Miami Heat and Chandler Parsons and Dirk Nowitzki from the Dallas Mavericks and other popular players in the league are now free agents.
“If I had it my way, I would want Durant on the Knicks. The Knicks need something to project them into the Eastern Conference,” spanish teacher Mr. Reff said.
