In January, High School students are given a chance to take or retake regents that they might have missed, not passed, or hope to do better on, in June or August. Regents week starts on January 26th and ends January 29th.
“I’m lucky that I have no more regents to take so I’m going to take the time to relax, sadly I still have to go to school for work at 2:30 pm,” senior Kaitlyn Pedota said.
Each day of the week different regents are being given.
Tuesday, January 26th
Morning: the physics, global history and RCT reading regents will be distributed.
Afternoon: the common core (CC) English and the geometry regents will be given.
Wednesday:
Morning: Living Environment, Chemistry and RCT United States History.
Afternoon: English Language Arts and RCT math.
Thursday:
Morning: United States History, Earth Science and CC geometry.
Afternoon: CC algebra and RCT writing.
Friday:
Morning: Algebra 2/Trig, RCT global history and RCT science.
Afternoon: No exams will be given.
High School students will return to classes on February 2nd.
