I feel the golden sand between my toes, while the luminous sun shines bright,
Away from wretchedness, away from heartache,
Birds fly high, the ocean runs close, clarity is in sight,
Distractions melt away, my feelings are yours to take,
I can’t let it out and so, my tongue I bite,
Fold up my love into small squares, it’s time to remake,
Of doubts and desires, I kiss them goodnight,
I pray the folds will vanish for our sake,
Everyday my love reaches new heights,
As seasons change, waiting for another mistake,
My footing is strong, I won’t fall without a fight,
Lost in thoughts, take me for what I am,
In the horizon stands a shining knight,
Oh take me and fix me, I wish you can.
