Towards the beginning of every school year, students travel to a park for field day. Field day is filled with activities for students to play.
As of right now Field day is scheduled to be on Thursday October 22nd, with a rain date of Monday October 26th. Field day is organized within groups from each grade versus each other in sports and activities. Activities such as Football, Soccer, Shoe toss and Ect.
“It’s gonna be really fun because there’s going to be more space and opportunity for high school sport, since high school and middle school are separated,” Physical Education teacher Mr. Maroney said.
Field Day is an annual trip for students, but for the first year high school and middle school’s field day are on separate days. This year, like last year field day will be held in Bayside at Crocheron Park. May the best group/team win.
“Field Day is always one of my favorite activities in the school year because I get to play sports like soccer with other kids, that aren’t just in my grade,” junior Samantha Messmer said.
