A new upcoming animated Spider-Man film directed by Bon Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson  will be released on June 4th, 2027. The movie will be set in New York City.

The film will be distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It will be produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Columbia Pictures.

The cast will include returning names such as Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Brian Tyree Henry as Jefferson Davis, Luna Lauren Velez as Rio Morales, Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’ Hara, Kimiko Glenn as Peni Parker, Mahershala Ali as Aaron Davis, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, Nicolas Cage as Spider Noir, Jake Johnson as Peter B Parker, Karan Soni as Pavitr Prabhakar, John Mulaney as Spider Ham, Daniel Kaluuya as Hobie Brown, and Jharrel Jerome as Miles G Morales.

WJPS 12th grader Lidia Kralijic said, “People that are fans of Spiderman will go and watch the movie.”

WJPS 12th grader Lilah Freeman said, “People that previously watched the previous movie before will go back and watch the next part.”
