A new Tom Hanks movie was recently released on November 1st called “Here.” Hanks is starring alongside Robin Wright and Paul Bettany for this film.
It was directed by Robert Zemeckis who has worked with Tom Hanks before on “Forrest Gump,” and “Cast Away”.
Zemeckis also directed “Back to the Future,” “Death Becomes Her,” and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit.”
“Here” is a fantasy drama about multiple generations of families living in the same exact house over a century.
This movie was filmed on a fixed camera angle, that means throughout the whole movie you only see one angle of the house.
WJPS 11th grader Joseph Weir stated, “I would watch the new Tom Hanks movie because it seems very well-made. Tom Hanks always has an amazing performance and bringing back the director and writers of Forrest Gump could make this a historical movie.”
WJPS 11th grader Samantha Almonte said, “I would absolutely love to watch the new Tom Hanks movie because he has been in so many great films and from what I’ve heard this is going to be such a great movie.”
