Dog Man is making its debut in the animated film industry. It is a children’s comic book series that was first released back in 2016.
The book is written and illustrated by prominent children’s book author Dav Pilkey, who is known for his other work such as Captain Underpants and Cat Kid Comic Club.
The movie follows the story of a character named Dog Man, who is part dog, and part man. He is well-known for his adventures as a crime-fighting hero, who battles various villains throughout the story.
The animated picture will be released by DreamWorks Animation known for previous films such as “Kung Fu Panda” (2008), and one of Dav Pilkey’s previous works, “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie” (2017).
The film will have a cast of voice actors that will include celebrities such as Pete Davidson, Isla Fisher, Lil Rel Howery, and Poppy Liu.
The movie is set to be released in theaters on January 31st, 2025.
