The first movie made over $180 million dollars at the worldwide box office. Universal Pictures officially announced that M3gan 2 will be released on June 27th, 2025.
The film will be a horror, comedy, thriller, and science fiction movie.
It will be directed by Gerard Johnstone and is written by Akela Cooper.
The cast for this new upcoming movie will be Brian Jordan Alvarez as Cole, Allison Williams as Gemma, Violet McGraw as Cady, Amie Donald as M3gan, and Jen Van Epps as Tess. The movie will also feature Aristotle Athari, Jemaine Clement, Ivanna Sakhno, and Timm Sharp.
Jenna Davis voices the voice of M3gan the robot. Film production has begun in New Zealand.
WJPS 12th grader Lidia Kralijic said,”I think it’s cool that they are making a second one because the first one was such a good movie. I am excited to watch the second one.”
