Apple CEO Tim Cook has unveiled Apple’s new device, the iPhone 16. The iPhone 16 comes in four different models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Prices start at $799 for the regular model and jump up to $1199 for the Pro Max. The new iPhone comes with a few new features, including a new button on the side that allows you to quickly access the camera with just one click and lets you slide your finger across the button to zoom in and out.
Alongside all the models comes the new A18, which helps to raise performance quality and allows for a longer battery life. The iPhone 16 also comes with an increased display size of 6.1-6.7 inches.
WJPS 11th grader Wendell Quilang Jr. said, “Honestly, it seems kind of useless to me. If you have a working phone, there’s no point unless you want to upgrade to the latest version.”
WJPS teacher Ms. Bonanni said, “None of the new features excite me; I’m very happy with my iPhone 15. I take very basic pictures with my children, so I definitely don’t want another button on my phone that can malfunction.”
