A new confirmed case of COVID-19 has appeared in World Journalism Preparatory School. Students and staff were notified on May 18th through email.
According to the email, “a member or members of our school community have tested positive for COVID-19 and may have exposed others while at school.”
It also stated, “vaccination is the most important tool we have to protect ourselves from COVID-19. All New Yorkers age 5 or older are eligible to be vaccinated for COVID-19.”
Testing is still going on throughout the building.
