Being engulfed in a vivid dream in the comfort of your own bed. Dealing with the constant twisting and turning when ” bbrrrring ” suddenly goes the alarm.
The sounds of the alarm clock can overtake your peaceful slumber. Especially with the dreadful remembrance that school starts in a few hours. Rolling out of bed early can be quite tedious for many, especially for those who are not morning people.
WJPS junior Steven Silvestri mentioned, “I fall asleep around two am, so I find it very difficult to get up in the morning. My mom has to wake me up for school, or my alarm clock does the job”.
Classes in WJPS start at 8:05; many students who have a longer commute to school have to wake up even earlier to school.
WJPS junior Thekli Chronis said, “I wish school started at a later time, like around 10 am, since I’m a night owl. If school started at a later time, then I would be wide awake for my classes. Personally, I dislike getting up early.”
Even though getting up can be exhausting, going to bed early and getting a full rest can be beneficial when getting up early.
