League of Legends is a multiplayer online battle arena game released by Riot Games and has been receiving constant updates since 2009, with more than 188 million players monthly in 2022.
Microsoft has announced that players can now earn free League of Legends in-game currency with Microsoft Rewards, a service where users earn points and exchange them for various rewards.
Users can earn points by searching the web, playing games, and shopping with Microsoft activated. You can earn more points by completing surveys given by Microsoft. Players can earn 150 or 650 riot points(RP), which is the in-game currency.
RP can be used in-game for champion skins, which change their appearance, battle passes, which contain more RP, emotes, and even more skins.
Leon Pantoja, a senior at WJPS, said, “This seems like a good way for me to earn free in-game currency so I can use it on skins and battle passes.”
Stefany Lin, a senior at WJPS, said, ”I think it’s a neat way to get League players to open up to the reward system as well by checking out other free rewards, which everyone loves.”
