Suicide is a struggle around the world for people of varying ages. There should be more ways for someone to get help.
There are therapists that you can go to and a number that you can call to help prevent it. It’s 1-800-273-8255.
Although there is already help, there isn’t enough attention to the topic and there should be more organizations set all around the world to make sure this doesn’t happen.
In school, there should be support groups and clubs for kids struggling with suicidal thoughts and depression to talk to each other so they know they aren’t alone.
According to The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States.
In teens this is often caused by social media, cyberbullying and bullying in real life.
Often, the reason why people bully is because they feel bad about themselves, so they do it to others who are weaker than them.
I think that there should be more help in schools rather than just guidance counselors and human resource people. It’s time for WJPS to create a club or group to deal with this issue.
