Scottish woman, Moria Boxall, found a python nesting in her shoe while unpacking after a vacation in Australia. Boxall flew from Queensland, Australia to Glasgow, Scotland without noticing a non-venomous python in her shoe. The python had even shed its skin during the journey. The snake had also made it through the security checks without being noticed.
When ABC News spoke with Boxall’s son-in-law, Paul Airlie, he said that Boxall thought the snake was a prank at first, before realizing it was not a toy. She then placed the shoe in the garden with a box on top. After discovering the reptile, Boxall became nervous and traumatized. Boxall had friends unpack the rest of her bags incase another snake was in there.
The python was then taken by Scottish Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and will be on its way to a zoo in Glasgow, Scotland. This story has created outbreak, and people are worried about traveling if rodents can get through security.
