A brand new addition to the Super Smash Bros. library was released on December 7th, 2018 by Nintendo on the Nintendo Switch.
The game features all characters from previous Smash games, such as Kirby, Mario, and Jigglypuff. They also feature new characters such as Ridley, Incineroar, Inkling, and Piranha Plant. Up to 73 characters with five up-and-coming ones being downloadable content.
This suggests that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the largest Smash Bros. game of them all. A new story mode has been added, where the player plays as Kirby trying to fight Galeem, who has turned every fighter into a mindless puppet to control.
Each time you fight another character, you either unlock them or gain a support boost via spirits. Early reviews suggest this is a very good addition to the game series.
However, people are having issues with online, where they have preferred settings for a certain type of match, but the game ignores them and assigns them to random matches.
“I feel like this game is possibly the best Smash out of all of them,” says World Journalism Preparatory School junior Ryan Keane, “my favorite fighter so far is King K. Rool.”
