As a part of the annual tradition, students of the 11th grade physics class went on a trip to Six Flags. This year the trip was held on Friday, June 3rd.
All trips need an educational purpose and the purpose of the physics trip was to apply and experience the concepts of physics that were discussed in class.
“It’s [planning the trip] is very stressful, but I plan it every year because it becomes one of the students’ favorite memories from high school,” physics teacher Ms. Katz said.
Students and chaperones enjoyed their time as they rode various roller coasters and played carnival games.
“I’ll never forget my experience at Six Flags. It was crazy fun and I never thought that I’d actually get past my fear of roller coasters until my friends dragged me onto Green Lantern. I almost passed out, but I was ready to take on any other [roller] coaster after that,” junior Mohammed Shah said.
