Dunkin’ Donuts’ (DD) lines have shortened ever since they released the “On The Go” option on their mobile app.
On April 28th, Dunkin’ Donuts announced that their app will give their customers the option of ordering on the DD app and picking up their order at a nearby DD store, without waiting on the line.
“It’s a great innovative idea for business and very convenient for the public,”
senior Eduardo Escamilla said.
With the new on the go ordering, only available in New York, an order can be placed on the Dunkin’ Donuts app up to 24 hours in advance. They can also select a time and location where they want to pick their order up.
Purchases can be placed through the Dunkin’ Donuts rewards program in which customers are rewarded points for every dollar that they spend. When customers reach a certain amount of points, they will be given rewards that include free drinks and coupons for future purchases.
There are now over 1,650 locations where the app can be used within the metro New York area. The app can be downloaded for free from the app store.
