There are mixed reviews on the Chromebooks and Macbooks that people use. Chromebooks are developed by Windows, while Macbooks are developed by Apple.
Most people prefer Chromebooks simply because they are both easier to use and more portable. The short screen along with the tiny keyboard and frame make it easier to access anywhere. In addition, the Chromebooks have a 2.2 GHz processor, which beat the Macbooks 1.1 GHz processors. This shows that it has a better performance capability compared to the Macbooks.
“I like Chromebooks. They have more applications and a better processor than the Macbook. I’ve been using them for a while now,” junior Justin Tom said.
In contrast, Macbooks have shown to be better for other people. Macbooks have Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, which are useful when it comes to doing work.
“Chromebooks are stupid; sometimes they bug out and other times I can’t do work without having a problem. They also don’t work as well as the Macbooks in our school,” junior Brandon Malave said.
Despite which is better, both the Macbooks and Chromebooks are shown to be beneficial to all students. Both give them a variety and lets them choose which laptop is better to work on. However, Chromebooks are better simply because they are more usable. They have a better processor for better performance. They are also more portable, allowing for easier access and for carry-on.
