Students spoke about autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to the school to spread awareness.
Town hall was held on Wednesday, April 20th during seventh period for middle school and eighth period for high school.
Announcements regarding upcoming events were made in the beginning, and was later followed by a presentation about ASD.
“One thing I learned during the town hall presentation was about the characteristics autistic people have,” junior Elena Szymkiewicz said.
Student government and ambassadors presented information about ASD, such as treatments, symptoms, and how people can help.
With a few minutes remaining in the period, Mrs. Shields put on the highlight for students to watch, which can be viewed here.
