Sophomore, Perey Yung, donated a cafe to the school store. Students can purchase items from it during lunch.
“The cafe will help raise money for the school. I came up with the idea of a cafe because I like to make coffee for my friends, teachers, and myself at home,” sophomore Perey Yung said.
Hot beverages, such as tea and coffee, are sold for two dollars each.
“Perey has been at the school since 6th grade. She expresses an interest in working with people. Last summer she worked at CVS for the SYEP and she decided it would be great to give something back to the school for a long time,” IEP teacher Mr. Petrotta said.
There are plans for expanding the cafe to make it better.
