The Vans Warped Tour recently announced on their website the dates and band lineup for their 2016 summer shows.
Warped Tour is a travelling rock festival that has been touring the United States annually since 1995. It’s the largest travelling music festival in the U.S. as well as being the longest-running touring music festival in North America.
Every year from the end of June to mid-August, Warped Tour has a humongous lineup of bands from varying genres that perform in almost every city of the U.S., sometimes even playing twice in the same city. The tour kicks off in Dallas, Texas on June 24th at the Gexa Energy Pavilion, and ends in Portland, Oregon on August 13th at the Portland Expo Center.
On March 22, Warped Tour officially announced the 2016 lineup. Some familiar bands that have played Warped Tour in the past will perform again. Those bands include 3OH!3, Every Time I Die, Falling In Reverse, New Found Glory, Real Friends, Reel Big Fish, Sum 41, The Maine, Yellowcard, and The Story So Far.
“I’ve never really had an interest in Warped Tour as there have usually been bands that I didn’t like, but this year looks interesting, and there seem to be some cool bands,” junior Marianna Brogna said.
Warped Tour plays in New York on Saturday, July 9th at Nikon at Jones Beach Amphitheatre. Get tickets here.
