Middle school will be having a Masquerade dance. It will be held on Friday March 18. It will take place in the gym starting at 7:00 P.M., and end at 9:00 P.M.
“I’m going to the dance to support the school and because I think it will be a great event,” eighth grader Hennessy Arias said.
Ticket sales will start Wednesday March 9 during lunch. The tickets cost $10 and will be available at the door for the same price. The ticket price includes snacks, masks, music by DJ Vinny and a photo wall.
“I’m going to the dance to have fun with my friends. I’ll probably buy a mask before the dance,” seventh grader Brianna Conlon said.
Students are encouraged to bring their own mask, but do have to purchase a mask to get into the dance. Masks will be provided for students who want to wear one but do not have one.
“We chose a masquerade theme, because we have done masquerade themed dances in the past and the kids loved it. It’s become a WJPS tradition!,” WJPS PTA said.
