This year the Greek Club held their 10th annual talent show at 6:30PM, on December 16th. Tickets were sold for $10, and included the entry fee as well as a jean’s day pass for the following day.
Acts consisted of singing, dancing, and performances by the Precision step team, glee club, spirit team, and middle school and high school students.
“I think the talent show went well. There wasn’t a lot of technical difficulties; the transition from act to act went smoothly,” Greek Club faculty advisor Mrs. Douvres said.
Auditions were held in November and the acts have been practicing in and out of school ever since.
“Getting the performers to perform after school was challenging,” Greek Club co-president Erika Donis said.
Previous talent shows were held the day before winter break, and students did not have to buy tickets to attend.
“Well, Ms. Schneider told us that the talent show was going to be on Wednesday, so we didn’t have a lot of time to plan. Selling tickets, promoting the talent show, and telling the tech crew what to do were also some of the challenges,” Greek Club co-president Kayla Morrell said.
