The wind is picking up, the chill is seeping into your bones, the sound of crunching leaves. Autumn is approaching, and it’s finally time again to nestle by the fire and flip on a horror flick to get into the mood; but what’s a good season without a few sweets and treats?
There’s nothing better than having the alluring warmth of a baking oven, so here is a great recipe; Nutella Therapy Cookies. The center of the cookies ooze Nutella, which is packed between heavy chocolatey dough that is too tempting to resist.
The first step in the kitchen is the preparation. This includes gathering the ingredients. What you will need:
- 16 frozen Nutella scoops
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon table salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter (1½ sticks) softened
- 1 cup soft light brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1 large egg yolk, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (to not overwhelm the nutella)
- 1¼ cup of chocolate chips
- Sea salt

The next recipe for a cozy night watching TV, would be Nutella Hot Chocolate. Although this recipe sounds rather complicated, but it’s very simple! Only a few ingredients are needed;
- 1 cup milk (any type)
- 2 tablespoons of Nutella, room temperature
- Whip cream (optional)
- Cinnamon (optional)
What you need to do:
- Pour milk into saucepan over medium heat, until heated to your liking.
- Dump tablespoons of Nutella in the milk, whisk until no lumps are left, and smooth.
- Serve in a mug, top off with whip cream and cinnamon, as well as other toppings of your choosing.
Don’t let that nippy air get the best of you, strike up that oven, sit back & enjoy the falling leaves!
