Coming into the second month of the school year, the PTA has their first fundraiser.
Partnered with Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, the PTA is raising money for their fundraiser. If one goes to Anthony’s Pizza on 420 Northern Blvd and says WJPS’ name, the PTA will receive 20% of one’s total purchase. This is a part of Anthony’s Pizza’s give back Thursdays. This will occur every Thursday the month of October.
“I think it’s a great cause and I will be definitely going there because I love pizza,” senior Calli Atamian said.
By them donating the 20% back to the PTA, it goes in support of all students. Dine in, Take out or sit at the bar and help the PTA raise money!
“This a PTA function and chairperson Ms. Kourakis organized it and I think it would be a fun way to make money for the school,” Parent Coordinator Ms. Reed said.
