Week 1 of football started off with last years super bowl champions , New England Patriots face off Pittsburg Steelers. The game brought in major speculation as four time super bowl quarterback Tom Brady was released from all charges that had to do with deflategate scandal from last year session. But after all the major issues that has happened to Tom in last couple months, he shows why he is one of the best. The patriots were able to face off the steelers as they win 28-21. Tom Brady threw for 288 yards, throwing four touchdown passes, while Ben Roethlisberger, quarterback for Steelers threw 351 yards for one touchdown pass and one interception
As we look back on Sunday night football huge upsets occurred. One major upset was seeing the Seattle Seahawks, last years runners up for Super Bowl, face already there first lost of the season against St. Louis Rams who were 6-10 last season. This caused a huge uproar as now St. Louis will now look to see drag on their winning streak as they face Washington Redskins the following week.
The Dallas Cowboys also faced off their bitter rivals, the New York giants on opening day as they were able to hold them off 26-27. Tony Romo was able to get the last touchdown in last drive with less than 2 minutes on the clock. Tony Romo threw 2 interceptions but was still able to redeem himself as he threw 356 yards with three touchdown passes
