On November 26th Disney is releasing a sequel to one of its highest grossing films Zootopia. 

Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman are returning to their roles alongside a new cast including Key Huy Quan, Quinta Brunson, Patrick Warburton, and Macaualy Culkin. 

Ginnifer Goodwin is known for projects such as He’s Not That Into You, Once Upon a Time, Something Borrowed, and Why Women Kill.

Jason Bateman is known for his work in Arrested Development, Ozark, This Is Where I Leave You, and Identity Theft.

WJPS sixth grader Astrid Arreaga said, “I’ve seen the first movie and really liked it, and the second one looks really interesting.”

At the time of the first movie’s release, it earned over one billion dollars worldwide and also won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2017. 

Directors Jared Bush and Byron Howard will be returning to the project. They also directed the Disney Oscar-winning film Encanto. 

WJPS sixth grader Penelope Pardo said, “I watched the first one before and liked it and I really want to go see the new one.”
