The Conjuring: Last Rites can now be seen in theaters.
This is the fourth movie of the series. All movies are connected to one another, with the prequel which is called The Devil Made Me Do It.
It will be first released in 2021 and can be viewed on HBO Max.
Currently the new movie is only in theaters but eventually it will be available to stream on Amazon Prime video, Apple TV, or HBO Max with a subscription.
The movie, Last Rites is based off of a real family and real events that had taken place which began in the year 1971 with the house the family lived in located in Rhode Island.
WJPS 12th grader Eleni Tsiakas said, “I have seen a lot of people talking about this movie and how it’s one of the scariest movies in the series. I don’t think I plan on watching because I don’t like horror movies.”
WJPS 12th grader Markella Georgiou said, “I have never watched any of the Conjuring movies, but this one seems the most scary from what people who have watched it are saying. I enjoy watching movies so I might watch it.”
