Silent Hill f is now available on Steam. Silent Hill f is a survival horror game and is a standalone spin-off in the Silent Hill franchise.
This latest edition of Silent Hill follows protagonist Hinako Shimizu–a teenage girl living in Japan, as she battles with the monsters that overtake her rural town.
Developers of Silent Hill f have stated that the game will have a greater focus on the melee combat system and offer a more action-packed game.
Last year the same video game studio released a remake of Silent Hill Two. This game won multiple awards including Game of the Year at the 2024 Horror Game Awards.
WJPS 12th grader Kevin Zhang said, “As for whether I’m going to play it, I’m definitely going to wait at least a week to make my own judgment. However I have high hopes–Silent Hill getting a fresh rendition separate from the same story as say, Silent Hill Two. Even though that’s really good, I’d also like something new.”
WJPS 12th grader Lillian Kong said, “It looks quite interesting but I don’t really like horror. However, I would be interested in the story line.”
