In 2007 Amazon came out with its very first version of Kindle that has been updated and changed over the years.
Kindle is a device used to read downloaded books as well as magazines and newspapers.
The latest version of this device came out in 2024 and is called the Kindle Scribe.
This version allows readers to be able to take notes on the e-books with a stylus pen that is provided, simulating what it’s like taking notes on a paperback.
There also is Kindle Unlimited which is a monthly subscription that gives users over four million e-books to choose from.
Kindle Unlimited currently costs up to $11.99 per month for all users who sign up.
WJPS teacher Ms. Mills stated, “I got a kindle quite a while ago and sadly I don’t like or use it as much as I thought I was going to.”
WJPS student Daniela Torres stated, “I don’t currently own a kindle, but I would like to have one. It’s really convenient that all your books are stored in one place that you can access at any time. I also really like how you can change the font size and just get more comfortable overall when reading.”
