Giovanni Siracusa and Giorgio Corletti are opening a new Italian restaurant this month named Decore in Manhattan’s East Village.
According to wetheitalians.com both owners aim to have customers experience a home-like feeling by making all their pasta from scratch.
They also want guests to be reminded of Italy whenever they visit.
Giorgio Corletti stated,“Everything is made with heart.”
The menu will have all sorts of traditional Italian dishes and customers can either sit and enjoy a dinner or even just have a simple Italian dessert.
WJPS seventh grader George Sfeliniotis said, “I like pasta knowing it’s homemade from Italians, makes it sound even better.”
WJPS 11th grader Joseph Weir said, “This place sounds like it will make good business.”
