Good Coffee, Great Coffee, released on February 27th, is the latest mobile simulation game from TapBlaze, creators of Good Pizza, Great Pizza.

Players become a barista in Coffee City, managing a café by preparing a variety of coffee orders for their customers. The game has mechanics that are the same as real life coffee preparation, including pulling espresso shots, steaming milk, and creating latte art. 

WJPS 12th grader Durryiah Dean said, “I would play this game, especially since I love coffee.”

Players can unlock different espresso/coffee machines as they progress, as well as different toppings and syrups. 

Customer satisfaction is very important, as they have high expectations and can get upset over small mistakes. When you do make mistakes you have to give a partial refund. 

There is a learning curve due to the game’s different mechanics and gameplay, different from Good Pizza, Great Pizza’s gameplay mechanics. 

Marissa Salerno, WJPS 12th grader shared, “It makes me rage a bit, it just gets more complicated remembering the recipes and how to do the latte art, but it’s my favorite game to play when I have some free time.”
