In honor of Women’s History Month, WJPS is hosting a series of special events to celebrate the achievements and contributions of influential women throughout history.
The celebration will feature performances and an assembly dedicated to recognizing female figures who have shaped our world.
These performances will feature the WJPS cheerleading team and precision step team.
WJPS teacher Ms. Shields said, “I’m very excited for the step team to do their performance and to show off all of their hard work. They’ve put a lot of effort and time into this assembly.”
In addition to the performances, WJPS will hold an assembly highlighting remarkable women from various fields, such as politics, science, arts, and activism.
WJPS dean Ms. McClosky said, “I think this Women’s History Month assembly is something different, and I like how it brings more tradition to the school and something students can look forward to during the year.”
