Paddington is a movie franchise that has been developing over the last nine years and the newest installment of the series was released last month.

Ben Whishaw voices Paddington and is known for work on Black Doves, Skyfall, and Mary Poppins Returns. 

The first Paddington movie was released in 2014, and the second movie was released in 2017.

This movie follows Paddington and the Brown family as he makes his way to Peru after discovering that his aunt has gone missing.

These movies have been inspired by a set of books called A Bear Called Paddington. These books were released in 1958 by Michael Bond.

WJPS 10th grader Theodore Bournis stated, “I’m really excited to see the new Paddington movie because I’ve always wanted to visit Peru and I’ve heard that it’s going to show a lot of Peru.”

WJPS sixth grader Micheal Fortunato said, “I really like the movies, I’ve watched them in theaters when they first came out and I am excited to see the next one.”
