Scream is introducing a new sequel, its seventh total installment.
Neve Campbell, the original protagonist in Scream’s one through four will recreate her role.
According to Hollywood Reporter, The protagonist in Scream’s V and VI, Melisa Barerra who played Sam Carpenter has been fired due to social media posts regarding the Israeli-Hamas war.
Scott Foley, who played the ghostface in Scream III returns but it’s unknown whether he will be a hallucination or an actual ghostface.
Mathew Lillard, who played the ghostface in Scream I will also return.
Scream Seven will be available in theaters in February of 2026.
WJPS 10th grader, Andrew Piedra said, ¨I really loved Scream III, I’m glad Roman Bridger is returning, he was my favorite ghostface.¨
WJPS 11th grader, Jack Annibale said, “I only watched Scream VI, due to its popularity, but I might watch seven.”
