WJPS hosted a trip to Spain and France this February break. Last year students had the chance to visit Greece and Italy.
A Japan trip is taking place in 2026.
The school partners with EF Tours for these trips.
Every year the school holds a trip planned for February break, but after COVID they stopped. It came back again last year and is continuing on.
Students got to visit different famous monuments like the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Basilica la Sagrada Família.
They traveled in a tour bus in both Spain and France. The bus had its own tour guide who taught and gave facts about certain places students visited.
WJPS 11th grader Andrew Montalvo said, “The trip was amazing. It was fun being able to walk European streets with my friends.”
WJPS 11th grader Jamie Baumann said, “I think it’s really cool that our school gets to do trips like these, especially places like Paris and Spain.”
