As we move through the second semester, WJPS has welcomed our new staff member, Ms. Williams.
Describing WJPS as “a warm and welcoming school,” she has stated that after working here for only a short time, it already feels like being with an extended family.
She joined WJPS in September, beginning her role as a community associate, but is now also assuming the duties of a parent coordinator.
When she learned about available job opportunities, she couldn’t resist applying. Although being new to working with the Department of Education, her connection to the department runs deep, as her own children have benefited from services provided.
With a great passion for being a helping hand, she stated. “I’m here not only to support students in need, but also to assist parents and faculty members.”
WJPS 7th grader Sophia Saldivar said, “She’s very kind, and she’s helped me get through the day when my glasses broke, and I know she’s always there to help me.”
WJPS staff member Ms. Deanna said, “She’s a very welcoming addition to the staff and she’s very confident.”
