WJPS’ annual winter talent show took place on December 20th, the Friday before winter break. As always, students from every grade met in the auditorium to watch the show.
This year’s talent show consisted of performances from both middle and high school students. Performers sang, danced, and played instruments.
There were many acts this year, including a brother’s duet, a Greek club dance, a step team performance and student-teacher songs.
There was also an act that has become tradition at WJPS. The senior act was performed by senior students who wanted to leave their mark at the talent show.
The show continued on until a little after dismissal time.
WJPS teacher and show organizer Ms. Douvres said, “I’ve been working the talent show for a good few years now and it’s always a good time. I really love bringing together all this talent and putting on a good show for the students.”
WJPS 7th grader Anastasios Karam said, “This was my first year performing at the talent show and I had a lot of fun. I danced for the Greek club with my sister and my friends. It was nice getting to show people a part of my culture.”
